Christmas is almost here and the elves are excited.  Snowflakes are falling from the great white skies and as far as you can see there are blowing drifts of snow.  It is perfect weather for sleigh rides and making snowmen.

The elves just surprised me with a wonderful Christmas concert filled with singing and dancing.  They even put on a little puppet show called "The Princess".  When the concert was over the enormous halls of the workshop were filled with music.  Now all the elves are hard at work getting gifts ready for all the good little boys and girls of the world. 

The elves tell me that you have been a good girl this year even though you have been acting a little spoiled.  Mrs. Claus and I are both impressed with the work you have been doing in grade two.  I know your mom and dad are too!  You might want to make an effort to clean up after yourself and your sisters a little more often though.  I know that would really impress your parents.

I see from your letter that there are a few things that you want for Christmas this year.  You have really become quite the artist.  I've got a special present ready just for you which I hope you'll enjoy.  Keep up the good work!
