I've been making animals from hearts for as long as I can remember and I still think they're utterly adorable! I've given over two dozen different ideas, complete with templates, on the website. I originally designed them for Valentine's Day, but they work great for any "I love you" type occasion including Mother's Day and Father's Day.
You can glue them onto the front of a homemade card complete with a cute saying like, "If I said I didn't love you,
I'd be "lion" or "I wuff you, mom!".
