Shortbread Cookies
- 1 lb butter
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup berry sugar
- 4 cup flour
Mix all ingredients together. Then knead well. Form into shapes and thickness of your choice. Prick the tops with a fork.
Bake at 350 degrees F for about 25 minutes.
Optional: frost with colored decorator frosting (you can purchase at the store) or lemon glaze (recipe below) and add sprinkles or small candies
Lemon Glaze
Ingredients:
- 1 egg white; slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cup Powdered sugar; sifted
- 1/2 tsp Lemon peel; grated
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- Dash salt
