Thanks so much to Misty for taking the time to share this song with us!
This song was sung recently at my first Daisy meeting, and the girls had a blast since it's one of those that is sung to a familiar tune.
If you're a Daisy and you know it clap your hands (clap hands twice).
If you're a Daisy and you know it clap you're hands (clap hands twice).
If you're a Daisy and you know it and you really want to show it,
if you're a Daisy an you know it clap your hands (clap hands twice).
Substitute "clap your hands" with "stomp your feet," "Shout Hoorah!," or let the girls yell out in turn what one they would like to do next.
Of course, the "Daisy" in the song can be substituted for ANY of the scouting troops (brownies, tigers etc.) When my dad sang this song for the Tiger Cubs, they made up words like "If you're a Tiger and you know it show your claws, or if you're a tiger and you know it make a growl" etc. You get the idea. This song REALLY got my troop pumped up!
