Owls have huge eyes that take up a lot of space in their skulls. This gives them excellent eyesight, especially in low light conditions. Owls can see in almost complete darkness, and their eyes are so large that they can't move them in their sockets. Instead, they have to turn their entire heads to look around, which is why owls are known for their ability to swivel their heads almost all the way around!

Owls are silent fliers:

Owls have special feathers on their wings that allow them to fly almost silently. This makes them excellent hunters, as they can sneak up on their prey without being heard. Owls also have soft fringes on the edges of their flight feathers that help to muffle the sound of their wing beats.

Owls have a unique way of communicating:

Owls have a range of vocalizations that they use to communicate with each other. Some species, like the barn owl, have a distinctive "shreee" call that sounds like a scream, while others, like the great horned owl, have a deep hooting call. Owls also use body language to communicate, such as puffing up their feathers to look bigger and more threatening, or bowing their heads as a sign of submission.

Nursery Rhymes, Poems and Fairy Tales:

Owls are very loving parents:

Owls are devoted parents and will do whatever it takes to protect their chicks. Both male and female owls take turns incubating the eggs and caring for the young, with the male often bringing food to the female and chicks while they're still in the nest. As the chicks grow, the parents will teach them important skills, like how to hunt and fly. Owlets are known for being incredibly cute, with their fluffy feathers and big, curious eyes, and it's heartwarming to see how much love and care their parents give them.
