Polar Bear Toilet Paper Roll Craft
Contributed by Leanne Guenther
This is a fun and easy color, cut and paste polar bear
craft. The craft uses a toilet paper roll as a base to give the
projects a three dimensional effect.
There isn't too much coloring to do because the polar bear is white. You can add a bit of torn up cotton ball to the body to make him fluffy if you want the craft project to take a bit longer.
Materials:
- toilet paper roll or cardboard tube,
- a printer,
- something to color with,
- scissors,
- glue,
- and paper.
Instructions:
- Print out the craft template of choice.
- Color (if using the black and white version of the craft) and cut out the template pieces.
- Glue the large rectangular piece on first to cover the tube. Toilet paper rolls come in slightly different sizes, so if you find the rectangle is a bit too big, just trim it down. If you find it's a bit too small, just cut out another small piece to fill in the gap.
- Glue the oval piece to the front and center of the tube as the polar bear's tummy.
- Glue the head onto the top of the tube.
- Glue the arms to the sides of the tube. You can fold the ends of the arms a little if that helps you get the arms in the position you like.
- Fold the tabs on the feet and glue them onto the body to give a three dimensional effect.
- Glue the yummy fish into one of the polar bear's paws.
Templates:
- Close the template window after printing to return to this screen.
- Set page margins to zero if you have trouble fitting the template on one page (FILE, PAGE SETUP or FILE, PRINTER SETUP in most browsers).
