Puppetmon is one of the four Dark Masters in Season One.  He is the second that the Digidestined face and is eventually destroyed by MetalGarurumon.  He is the Dark Master of the forest. To him, everything is a game, and he wants nothing more than to force the kids to play with him in his deadly games.

They meet him briefly in Episode 40, but the real battle with him begins in Episode 43 after they defeat MetalSeadramon.
