"Make a Child Smile" this holiday season

Hi Everyone,

This week I want to share a site and an email that I received from a fellow viewer. Kristine emailed me a while back to tell me about a site that she frequently visits.

Dear Leanne,
I stumbled upon your website last week when searching for 'printable cards' and have been back to your site nearly every day since. The reason is because I frequently visit another site - http://www.makeachildsmile.org (you may have heard of it). This is not a guise to promote another website to you hence the reason I'm emailing you personally rather than posting this at your discussion group.  The lady who runs the MACS site simply asks people to send a card to a sick child (as well as their siblings). That's it! No gimmicks, just a simple card. Since I live in the UK and since a lot of children get featured on the MACS site, I needed to find a simple, effective yet inexpensive way to send these children a card (I'm sure you know how kids love to receive mail!). The customizable greeting cards you offer are PERFECT for this purpose. Those children who are able to see and use their hands mean that they can color in the pictures themselves and get 'a little bit extra' from their card. Therefore, I simply wish to say 'thank you' for offering such a wonderful service. God bless and keep up the good work!
All the best,

Thanks to Kristine for writing and sharing this!  What a great idea.  I visited the MACS site and let me just say, it really tugs at the old heartstrings. Being the mother of two healthy girls is something that I take for granted all too often.

So, in the spirit of the holiday season, perhaps you or your children could send a card and help to "Make a Child Smile".
