Tasha's Review:

I really enjoyed this movie because it was full of dancing and singing.  I sometimes don’t enjoy musicals because I find them kind of odd but this one was different.

I think part of the reason that I enjoyed it so much was because it had so many great actors such as Queen Latifah, John Travolta, Zach Efron and Amanda Bynes (the list goes on and on.)

There were not many negative things about this movie but I think that the main thing that upset me was that I realized how racist people were in the 60’s.

If I had to give this movie a rating out of 5, I would say it ranked at about an 4 because it was a great movie, as well as a musical.  I am going to rate this movie at PG because some of the content was a bit old for children under the age of 12 but I would definitely recommend this movie to all people 12+.

Overall this movie was fun to watch and it had me entertained throughout the whole thing.

Kaitlyn's Review:

Hairspray was a fantastic movie so I am going to give it a rating of 4.5 stars.  My favourite part was when she was in the hairspray can and my least favourite part was when she was in the dress store.

My favourite character was the girls friend and my least favourite character was the girls enemy.
