Tasha's Review:The seeker was definitely a great movie to go and watch with my family. I think that we all really enjoyed it. At first, when I saw the previews I thought it would be a little bit juvenile but in the end it turned out to be quite an excellent movie. Although I wouldn’t go to it with my friends because we would much rather go to a movie like Hairspray or Stick It. Those are more the genre of movies that we like to see. Having said that my family and I love going to movies that we can all relate to and enjoy watching with each other. I really disliked the fact that the start of the movie was spread out a lot more than the end of the movie, and that made it seemed crammed in the end. I also disliked how they left a lot of important things out of the movie that were told in the book. Although that happens a lot. Overall I would give this movie a 3.5 out of 5. I would also recommend this movie for children 5 and up although some parts might be a little scarier for the younger ones. I enjoyed watching this movie with my family, it was an overall good movie and I would love to see the other books in this series made into movies as well. |
Kaitlyn's Review:I think that The Seeker was one of the best movies I have ever seen so it get 5 stars. My favourite part of the movie was when Will found the first sign. My least favourite part was when he was was looking for the other signs. My favourite character was the sister and my least favourite character was the girl with the red scarf. I would give the younger sister five stars and the girl with the red scarf one star. |
