DLTK's Crafts for Kids
Johnny Appleseed Tracer Pages

John Chapman, also known has Johnny Appleseed, was born on Sept 26th, 1774 and he died on March 18th, 1845.  He roamed around the United States (Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois) and started nurseries of apple trees to help feed the pioneers.

He became an American legend while still alive, due to his kind and generous ways and his leadership in conservation -- he loved animals and the environment.  He is also known for winning several apple eating contests!

Even if you have a color printer, I prefer the black and white version which the kids can color in themselves.
