Play Snow

This project would be fun for groups to create their own snow pictures.

• Ivory Snow (powder form) 
  • if you can't find, use a grater to grate a bar of ivory soap
• Water 
• Electric mixer 
• Mixing bowl 
• Cardboard 

Mix the ivory snow and water on high with an electric mixer.

Mix well until it is thick enough that when the mixer is lifted from the ingredients it looks like meringue.

One viewer suggested:  My kids spread it on cardboard and cut out pictures of people and animals to decorate the picture. My daughter cut out penguins and made an igloo and put it on the bottom.  When it dries it looks like snow.  Also some of the kids dabbed their finger in it and put it on the cardboard to make it look like snow was falling down.
