Although not technically a craft, I like to have a number of Christmas puzzles printed and ready to go at Christmas time to keep the kids (and sometimes the grandparents) busy.

I've never been that good at having the turkey ready right on time and it's become a bit of a Christmas tradition for the girls to do a Christmas puzzle of some sort while dad carves the turkey and I get the stuffing ready.
