			 (No Picture Available) Mexican Corn BreadIngredients:  1 cup yellow corn meal  1 cup all purpose flour  1 Tbsp baking powder  2 Tbsp sugar  1 tsp ground cumin  1/2 tsp garlic powder  1/2 tsp chili powder  1/2 tsp salt  1/4 cup canned chopped green chilies  1 cup milk  1/4 cup butter, melted  1 egg Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 425 F. 2. In a bowl, stir together corn meal, flour, baking powder, sugar, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder and salt. 3. Stir in chilies, milk, butter and egg. 4. Pour into a greased 8x8 inch pan 5. Bake for 20 minutes. 6. Makes 9 squares.  |
