Lucha Libre (Wrestlers) Paper Doll Crafts
This is a simple cut and paste paper craft that can be done
"just for fun", for a sports theme or for a Mexico theme.
Lucha libre is a type of professional wrestling practiced in Mexico. Mexican wrestling is characterized by colorful masks and rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers.
Materials:
- something to color with if using the B&W version,
- scissors,
- glue,
- paper,
- printer
Instructions:
- Print out the template of choice -- you'll need two templates: the man and one of the outfits.
- Color (where appropriate) and cut out the template pieces. You can cut out template 1 (the man) or just cut out the outfit template and glue all the pieces onto the full sheet of template 1. It's up to you!
- Glue the wrestler of your choice together in the following order:
- singlet (one piece spandex body suit)
- boots
- belt
- lucha libre mask

- Close the template window after printing to return to this screen.
- Set page margins to zero if you have trouble fitting the template on one page (FILE, PAGE SETUP or FILE, PRINTER SETUP in most browsers).
