Fray Felipe (Brother Philip) Song
to the tune of "Are You Sleeping"
Sing this song in Spanish to compliment a "Learning About Mexico" or "Learning About Spain" lesson plan.
This is a natural "repeat after me" song because each line is sung twice... so the teacher, parent or leader can sing the first line and the children can sing the second while learning the song. Once the song has been learned (if your group is old enough), you can spice it up a bit by making it into a round (two part or four part!)
Pronunciation hints are in bold, italics.
