Tissue Flowers for your Hair
Thanks to all the viewers who sent in versions of how to make tissue flowers!
Make one of these flowers and tie to a bobby pin or beret for your hair. Or make a whole bouquet and give to a friend. Squirt with a bit of perfume so they really smell!
I've listed these from easiest to hardest
Version 1
Take 3 to 6 square pieces of tissue paper.
Stack on top of each other
tie in the center with a string and tie to a bobby pin (or wrap with a pipe cleaner to make a bouquet)
Version 2
Take 4 strips of tissue paper 8 inches by 16 inches.
Accordian fold (fan fold)
tie in the center with a string and tie to a bobby pin (or wrap with a pipe cleaner to make a bouquet)
Pull apart the layers and fluff to shape
Version 3
Take napkins and cut in half lengthwise (so they're
rectangles)
Pull apart the layers (they usually have 2 layers for each napkin)
Stack 15 layers
Accordian fold (fan fold)
tie in the center with a string and tie to a bobby pin (or wrap with a pipe cleaner to make a bouquet)
Carefully pull apart the layers and fluff to shape
