Strawberry Moon Milk (Emoji Series)

This milky slime combines white and clear glue-bases is a satisfying recipe for those who love textures to play with, for those who love ASMR videos, or even for those who want a distraction from stress. This recipe is the first slime in our emoji series!

Materials
- mixing bowl
- spoon and/or spatula
- white glue (75 mL)
- clear glue (25 mL)
- white lotion
- borax mix (1-2 tsp.; mix 1 tbsp. of borax into 1 cup of boiling water and stir until clear)
- lunar sparkles
- strawberry pieces (these can be made from oven-bake clay or bought from Michael's or online)
- small styrofoam ball
- dark blue or black acrylic paint
- small paint brush
Craft Instructions
- lightly paint your small styrofoam ball, so it resembles the moon, and set aside to dry;
- pour white glue into mixing bowl and then slowly add clear glue and white lotion, mixing well with spoon or spatula;
- add borax mixture, but do not add too much, since it will make your slime hard and not stretchy like you want it (TIP: PUT 1/2 tsp in at a time and knead and knead for minutes before adding any more);
- mix slime with spoon or spatula until it starts to stick to itself, becoming gooey;
- remove spoon or spatula and place on a plate or a paper towel
- knead the slime for 2-5 minutes in the mixing bowl while trying to get all the stringy parts out;
- transfer your slime onto a hard, clean surface or into a sealable container;
- add lunar glitter and strawberry pieces;
- once dried, add your moon;
- mix your slime creation together to create the magical moon milk;
- play with your slime with your hands or a spoon.
Tips
- the more sparkles you add, the less "white" your milk slime will appear
- the the longer you leave this slime sit once you've mixed it, the higher the moon will rise out of the slime. Soon, you will see a full moon!
