Capricorn Writing Prompt
Print out the writing prompt activities with small sentence prompts to get your children writing!
Your child may choose to focus his own story on the themes within the story of Capricorn the Sea Goat, or she may let her imagination run wild. Anything is possible with fiction! I think story spark sentences are a great way to expand your child's vocabulary, and give your child the ability to get creative!
Materials:
- printer,
- paper,
- pencil
Instructions:
- Complete the story spark sentence inspired by the story of Capricorn the Sea Goat:
"You watch as your sea-goat triplets lead a host of other ocean animals ashore. They dance and make music with their hooves, tails, and mouths. However, you start to notice that their tails are turning into hooves; will they ever return to the ocean?"
- Write one or more paragraphs to go along with that first idea.
- Read the new story out loud!
