I like to laminate these, add a wool tassel and use them as reading rewards.  I also often have the children make them as gifts to accompany books for family or friends.

TIP:  (contributed by a viewer)  If you color with crayon, it may leave a mark on the book.  I always cover in clear contact paper to prevent anything like that from happening, but if you aren't going to, it would be best to use pencil crayon for coloring them in!
