DLTK's Crafts for Kids
Felt Projects
Felt is an easy material to work with. It can be sewed or hot glued together and made into cute little pillows or bean bags.
It's a wonderful material to use to introduce children to sewing because you don't have to worry about the edges fraying... They can be left on the outside of the project and still show a nice finished edge.
Younger children enjoy making felt bookmarks or banners using tacky glue or fabric glue to attach the pieces together.
